Director/Coach
Quanesha Speed
Quanesha “Coach Speed” Speed is the Founder and CEO of the Black Volleyball Circuit (BVC) and the visionary Creator of the nationally recognized HBCU Showcase®, a premier platform connecting athletes with Historically Black Colleges and Universities. She is also the proud Director and Owner of Texas Allstars Volleyball Club, where she continues to shape the future of young athletes both on and off the court.
With over 15 years of coaching experience, Coach Speed has trained and mentored countless athletes who have gone on to compete at the collegiate level. Her passion for the game goes beyond wins and losses—she is committed to creating opportunities, building confidence, and using volleyball as a vehicle for education, empowerment, and exposure.
As a mother of three beautiful daughters, she understands the value of hard work, perseverance, and community. Her leadership has positioned her as a trailblazer in the volleyball world, dedicated to advancing diversity in the sport while providing life-changing opportunities for the next generation.
Now entering an exciting new club season, Coach Speed is more energized than ever to continue developing athletes, expanding the reach of the Black Volleyball Circuit, and inspiring young players to chase their dreams both on the court and in the classroom.

Coach/Trainer
Jamie Johnson
​Jamie Johnson is an Arlington, Texas native and proud graduate of Sam Houston High School. She continued her athletic career in college, competing in both volleyball and basketball at Lon Morris Junior College and Sterling College in Kansas. Jamie holds both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Athletic Administration.
Since 2008, she has dedicated her career to coaching volleyball and has been an integral part of the Texas All-Stars Volleyball Club as both a coach and member of the administration since its founding. She currently serves as the Head Volleyball Coach at DeSoto High School, where she continues to build a culture of excellence.
Beyond the court, Jamie is a devoted mother and is deeply passionate about the game of volleyball. Her mission is to inspire and develop leaders who excel not only in athletics, but also in life.

Coach/Trainer
Devan Piggee
Coach Devan brings over 25 years of volleyball experience as both a player and coach. She played Middle Blocker and Right Side Hitter at Parkland College and the University of Missouri–St. Louis, competing at a high level throughout her collegiate career. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Human Services, which she uses to inspire, mentor, and motivate athletes.
With over 20 years of player development experience and more than 9 years of coaching, Coach Devan has helped athletes grow their skills and reach their full potential. She has led high school teams to back-to-back playoff appearances and guided multiple club teams to success at Regionals and Nationals. Her passion is developing athletes not only as skilled players, but also as confident leaders and strong teammates on and off the court.
